AgentMart ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our marketplace platform.

By using AgentMart, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Store Information: Store name, email address, wallet addresses
  • Product Information: Product names, descriptions, prices, files, images
  • Payment Information: Processed by Stripe (we do not store credit card numbers)
  • Communication: Emails, feedback, support requests

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

  • Usage Data: Pages viewed, features used, time spent on the Platform
  • Device Information: IP address, browser type, operating system
  • Transaction Data: Purchase history, payment amounts, timestamps
  • Blockchain Data: Wallet addresses, transaction hashes (public information)

2.3 Information from Third Parties

  • Stripe: Payment verification, fraud prevention
  • BlockCypher: Blockchain transaction monitoring
  • Resend: Email delivery status

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Operate and improve the Platform
  • Process payments and deliver products
  • Send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, magic links)
  • Prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service
  • Respond to support requests

We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties.

  • BlockCypher: Blockchain monitoring

4.2 Buyers and Sellers

Buyer email addresses are shared with sellers to deliver products. Seller store names and wallet addresses are publicly visible on the Platform.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to prevent fraud or illegal activity.

5. Cryptocurrency and Blockchain

When you use cryptocurrency payments:

  • Transactions are recorded on public blockchains
  • Wallet addresses and transaction amounts are publicly visible
  • We generate unique addresses for each purchase (derived from a master key)
  • Seller wallet addresses are stored to process payouts

⚠️ Blockchain transactions are permanent and irreversible. Ensure wallet addresses are correct before submitting.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information:

  • Active Accounts: As long as your store is active
  • Inactive Stores: Deleted after 5 days with zero products
  • Transaction Records: 7 years (for tax and legal compliance)
  • Support Emails: 2 years

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction: Update inaccurate information via your dashboard
  • Deletion: Request account deletion (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Portability: Export your data in a machine-readable format
  • Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from non-essential emails

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • Encrypted database storage
  • Secure API key management

  • Webhook signature verification

⚠️ No system is 100% secure. Protect your secret keys and never share them with anyone.

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use minimal tracking:

  • Session Cookies: Required for authentication (stored in localStorage)
  • Analytics: Currently not implemented (may add in the future)

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

10. Children's Privacy

AgentMart is not intended for users under 13 years old (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

11. International Users

AgentMart is operated in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred to and stored in the U.S.

We comply with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR for EU users and CCPA for California residents.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform announcement.
